Bishan (Bi Mountain) is the highest peak of the Matsu Islands but stands only 298 meters high. Two trails lead up the mountain from Shangcun, passing through Qinbi, and there is also a road from Tangqi village, all three routes suitable for ordinary people.
Midway up Bishan there is a scenic platform which provides excellent views of Beigan Airport, Tangqi and Houwo, and the uninhabited islands near Beigan, like Da Qiu and Xiao Qiu.

◎Travel informationPoints for attention
Visitors should remember that parts of Bishan are still military areas. To avoid a misunderstanding please avoid directly filming or photographing military installations.
