The Matsu archipelago is the northernmost territory under Taiwan’s jurisdiction, and Beigu Islet off Luohan Flats on northern Xiyin Island (at 26°22'58.8" north latitude and 120°28'34.0" east longitude) is known as the “Northernmost Frontier.” When the weather is clear, you can see Beigu Islet from the scenic outlook.
