Beigan Visitor Center is just three minutes away by car from Baisha Port on Banli Village’s main street. It offers a variety of tourist flyers aside from tourist information services. Tourist video screenings and guided tours are available, too, for visitors to quickly have an idea about travelling in Beigan.
Screening sessions: Every 30 minutes from 09:00 to 16:30 and each is about 11 minutes long.
Old building, new life: Century-old Banli Residence
Constructed according to traditional stone-piling methods, Banli Residence features neat stone walls. Its interior is mainly composed of wood. In the old days, it was considered a magnificent house. Upon refurbishment, the residence’s right-hand section is open to visitors. Its left-hand part is used as a B&B. Banli Residence is not to be missed if you wish to know how charming Mindong architecture can be.
