The first highly interactive museum featuring Matsu’s natural heritage, the place was previously used as a fishery research institute. A few years back, it was turned into the Blue Tears Ecological Museum, working with National Taiwan Ocean University to cultivate glowing algae. Other than a static introduction to Matsu’s natural ecology, there are 4D VR facilities for visitors to interact with the algae all year round, as if they were really in the sea.
Admission:
All admissions must be reserved in advance. You may just go to the museum and try your luck. To ensure the quality of your visits, we only allow 30 visitors per session, upon presenting admission tickets.
