Day1｜Dongyin
Escape to the northern edge of the nation, stroll in the refreshing sea breeze, and follow the rhythm of the waves to this peaceful and secluded island. Enjoy quiet moments away from the noise of everyday life.
 

Transportation

1. Take the New Taima Ferry or Taima Star from Keelung’s West Pier 2. The sailing time to Dongyin Township is approximately 10 hours.
2. Fly with UNI Air or Mandarin Airlines to Matsu Airport (Nangan). From there, take a taxi to Fu’ao Harbor and board the Taima Star to Dongyin.
3. Taxis are available at Zhongzhu Harbor, making transportation convenient. You may also inquire at your lodging about scooter rentals.

Fees

1. One-way fare from Keelung to Dongyin: approximately NT$1,050.
2. One-way fare from Nangan to Dongyin: approximately NT$400.
3. Detailed fare charts available for both the Taima Star and New Taima Ferry.

2. The New Taima Ferry and Taima Star may suspend or adjust sailings due to weather or seasonal factors. Please confirm before boarding.
3. Check whether the route sails “Nangan → Dongyin first” or “Dongyin → Nangan first” on the day of travel to plan your itinerary efficiently.

Day2｜Nangan

Nangan is the largest island in the Matsu archipelago, and it also has the greatest number of hiking trails. Choose a few trails to explore—walk upward step by step and wander through the lush paths. Each trail has a unique charm, and the occasional small branching paths often lead to unexpected surprises, enhancing the joy of your journey.

Transportation

1. As the largest island in Matsu, Nangan offers convenient transportation options including taxis, car rentals, and scooter rentals.
2. Ferry service between Nangan and Beigan operates hourly, with a sailing time of approximately 15 minutes.
3. Nangan → Beigan: Daily departures 07:00–17:10, departing every hour.
4. Beigan → Nangan: Daily departures 07:30–17:30, departing every half-hour.

Fees

1. Scooter rental: approximately NT$500 per day.
2. Car rental: approximately NT$2,500–3,000 per day.

Day3｜Beigan
