Looking like two puppies crouching on the sea, Juguang Township’s two islands were called Dongquan (Eastern Canine) and Xiquan (Western Canine) in the past. They were only renamed as Dongju and Xiju later on, as a new township together. And Juguang Visitor Center is located right beside Fuzheng Village of Dongju Island.
The center has a unique Mindong style. It fits well with the nearby lighthouse and stone houses. Video screenings about the island and tourist information are available. Don’t miss the center if you are here in Juguang!
