Opening time of the Beihai Tunnel

The following times are based on tide information from the Central Weather Administration and are for reference only!
There may be a difference of about 2–3.5 hours. Actual opening times are subject to on-site tidal conditions. Before departure, you may call to inquire about the tide status: 0836-22177 or 0836-25631.
Note: The evacuation time inside the tunnel is approximately 30 minutes. Visitors are advised to enter the tunnel 30 minutes before the control gate closes.

Nangan Beihai Tunnel – Rowing & Kayaking Activities
Water recreation activities in Beihai Tunnel are now open.
Rowing boats and kayaks are available. Everyone is welcome to join. For inquiries, please call 0836-22177.
Registration methods:
- Backpackers or individual travelers may register on-site for immediate participation.
- Group visitors should make reservations in advance to allow arrangement. Please contact Tieren Recreation Co., Ltd. at 0836-22177.
