Bus
Both Nangan and Beigan have public bus stops serving inter-village transportation. The flat fare is NT$15 per ride (no distance-based fare). Travelers can plan their trip according to the bus timetables for each route.
Nangan Routes: Departing from Jieshou Bus Terminal, two main lines operate.
– Coastal Line: Matsu Distillery, Shengli Reservoir, Magang Tianhou Temple, and other attractions.
– Mountain Line: Matsu Distillery, Tieban, Jinsha Park, Zhongshan Gate, and Chushu’ao Reservoir.
Beigan Route: Runs from Tangqi to Baisha, stopping at Wushaling, Shangcun, Chenggongpo, Qinbi,Banli Reservoir, Banli Village, and Baisha.

Taxi
Fares are charged by the meter. For sightseeing or private hire, the rate is approximately NT$500 per hour or NT$1,500 for a half-day trip. For detailed fare information or assistance, please contact the Matsu Taxi Association at +886-836-22705 or inquire directly with local taxi operators.

Tour Bus / Car Rental
Tour buses are available for rent on all islands. With fuel included and a driver provided, the hourly rental rate ranges from NT$700 to NT$1,000. For private cars or passenger vans, the daily rental rate ranges from NT$2,500 to NT$4,500, depending on the vehicle type and whether a driver is included.

Scooter / Motorcycle
Scooter rental rates are generally NT$500–600 per day or NT$300 for half a day (fuel included). Scooters can be rented and returned at the airport or port, and most operators offer pickup and drop-off services. Please call in advance to confirm availability and arrange service.
