Transportion
1. Take the Taiwan-Matsu Ferry from Keelung’s West Wharf No. 2 to Matsu’s Dongyin Township. The trip takes approximately 10 hours.
2. Take Uni Air Flight #1 to Matsu’s Nangan Airport, then take a taxi to Fuao Wharf to take the Taiwan-Matsu Ferry to Dongyin.
Fare Information
1. The cost of a one-way Taiwan-Matsu Ferry ticket from Keelung to Dongyin is NT $1,050.
2. The cost of a one-way Taiwan-Matsu Ferry ticket from Nangan to Dongyin is NT $350.
Travel Tips
1. Dongyin is the furthest north of the Matsu Islands, its cool climate providing excellent conditions for wine making, the cold winters also making the local people fond of a tipple.
2. Dongyong Aged Sorghum Liquor , a designated drink for ROC state banquets is made on Dongyin. Visitors can, after admiring the imposing coastal scenery, take a rip to the distillery to try a glass or two of the famous sorghum liquor, and rest a while.

When visiting the home of rice wine, Nangan, by visiting a winery, the famous tunnel 88 where wine is matured or even trying your hand at making wine yourself, you will be able to appreciate the indivisible bond between the people of Matsu and wine.

1. A popular new activity for visitors to Matsu is DIY rice wine making. The winery is in Siwei village. The operator has developed an improved yeast strain that allows wine to be made all year round.

Day 3 Baisha Harbor, Beigan → Beihai Tunnel → Qinbi settlement → Qiaozai → Tangqi

Beigan has a well-known special products street. Here you can buy various kinds of famous wine and liquor, drinking snacks and distinctive snacks for reasonable prices.It is only 50 meters away from the airport so shopping here is very convenient.
Transportion
1. A ferry can be taken from Fuao Harbor,Nangan to Baisha Harbor, Beigan (takes about 15 minutes.) Then the sights can be explored by bus, taxi or hired scooter.
2. Nangan-Beigan: on the hour from 07：00～17：10 every day.
3. Beigan-Nangan: every half an hour from 07：30～17：30.

1. One-way boat ticket from Nangan to Beigan costs $160.

1. To avoid being prevented from visiting Beihai tunnel by the high tide please check the tide table for Matsu.
2. Matsu shop prices can almost be described as “official prices” so the shops don’t accept bargaining.
3. If you buy in bulk the shop can help deliver to your home. The luggage allowance on flights is 10kg so visitors should judge for themselves whether to have what they buy delivered or carry it back home themselves.
