A beach with soft, glowing white sands
Banli Beach rests by a bay, facing the southeast. Every summer, it gets hit by monsoons. Plus the mud and sands brought by ocean currents, with time, this vast, flat beach takes shape, between the sky and the ocean.
Banli Beach is surrounded by Qinshan, Banshan, and Lishan. It is Matsu’s most flat and open beach. Together, Banli Beach and Wusha Beach form an extensive coastline. Between the two beaches are wooded paths which visitors can walk on. The white quartz sands shine gracefully on sunny days.
Small and colorful, Banli’s Tianhou Temple is well equipped
Not far from Banli Beach towards Baisha Harbor, the world’s smallest temple worshipping Goddess Mazu can be found. The colorful religious architecture draws the attention of many. Why not invoke some blessings at the temple if you drop by!
