Transportion
1. Take the Taiwan-Matsu Ferry from Keelung West Wharf No. 2 to Matsu’s Dongyin Township (duration approximately 10 hours).
2. Take Uni Air Flight #1 to Matsu Nangan Airport, then travel by taxi to Fu-ao Wharf to take the Taiwan-Matsu Ferry to Dongyin.

1. The cost of a one-way Taiwan-Matsu Ferry ticket from Keelung to Dongyin is NT $1,050.
2. The cost of a one-way Taiwan-Matsu Ferry ticket from Nangan to Dongyin is NT $350.

Day 2 Fuao Harbor, Nangan → Mengao Harbour, Dongju → Dapu Inscription → Mysterious Little Bay → Kunqiu Beach → Snake Island

A submerged reef juts out of the water as the tide goes out; the rise and fall of the formation makes it looks like a giant snake swimming in the water, hence the name Snake Island.
Transportion
1. Take the Taiwan-Matsu Ferry from Dongyin’s Zhongzhu Harbor to Nangan (approximately two hours). After arriving at the wharf in Nangan, you can choose to continue to Juguang Township.
  Ferry to Dongju departs from Nangan at 7:00, 11:00, and 14:30
  Visitors are advised to check in advance whether the ferry from Nangan to Juguang stops at Dongju or Xiju first.

1. One-way boat ticket to Dongju costs $200.
2. Full-price boat ticket from Dongju to Xiju costs $80, half-price ticket $40.

1. Food and lodging can be found in Xiju's Qingfan Village and Tianao Village, and Dongju's Daping Village.
Day 3 Fuao Harbour, Nangan → Beihai Tunnel → Iron Fort (Stronghold 51) → Shengtian Park → Qiugui Mountain Trail → Niujiao settlement

1. Nangan has what is known as the king of Matsu’s tunnels, Beihai tunnel. The servicemen who carved it from the bare rock toiled with great determination to overcome nature. The granite, lights and the water color combine to create a mysterious atmosphere.
2. Qiugui Mountain Trail has more rock strata diversity than any other Matsu trail. Observe the multicolored rock strata at the side of the trail and, if you look carefully, you may see a crystal vein.

1. On Nangan, Matsu's largest island, get around by taxi or rented scooter.
