The century-old Yulu Historic Trail links up Dapu and Daping. In the early days when resources were hard to come by, this was an important route which fishermen could transport fish from Dapu to Daping for sale. To make ends meet, people traveled between the two villages. Today, with effort from Dongju Community Development Association and Dongju Elementary School, the locals have made the trail anew, after removing wild grass and planting trees. There is even an ecological park by the trail now.
