Built in 2003, Dongyin Visitor Center stands high up at mountain top. To avoid strong winds, it is designed with low-lying details. The center can be easily spotted from Zhongzhu Harbor, and thus it serves as a perfect landmark for tourists.
On the center’s first floor, there is a tourist information counter and a souvenir shop. On the second floor, other than exhibition rooms, there is a special area for visitors to rest, decorated with lighthouse and tern graphics. Visitors are free to watch tourist videos, get travel flyers, or make travel inquiries, to find out what they want to explore next. The informative center is highly recommended.
