Overlooking Beigan from Matsu’s highest peak
While just 298 meters above the sea level, Bishan is already Matsu’s highest peak. From Bishan Lookout, Beigan Airport, Tangqi Village, Houwo, and even Daqiu and Xiaoqiu in the far distance can all be appreciated. It is ideal for taking photos of airplanes landing and taking off from the airport.
Note: Winds are strong at Bishan. Please stay safe if you go there by motorcycle. Some areas are still classified as military bases. To avoid disputes, please do not point your camera lens at them.
