Renai Village is previously known as Tieban Village. Renai was once prosperous, but since it was no longer a political and military stronghold, it is now just an ordinary village.
The village is home to a huge number of Mindong stone houses. In recent years, the government and several dedicated experts revitalized the village’s high street and installed a few pieces of public art. In all corners of the village, one can discover the villagers’s effort for preserving and renewing old sites. Renai has thus become alive again.
